recipe:
4 eggs
1 ½ dl sugar
1 dl flour
½ dl potato starch flour
1 teaspoon baking powderBetween
layers:
250 g Mascarpone (cream cheese)
2 dl cherry jam
2 tablespoons sugar
Icing & cake
decorating:
1 egg white
~ 3 dl icing sugar
red
food colouring
12 heart shaped sweets
DIRECTIONS:
Beat eggs and sugar
with an electric mixer until pale and thick. Whisk together flour,
potato starch flour and baking powder in a bowl and add to egg mixture. Mix until smooth. Pour batter
on baking paper on a pan to form a rectangle. Bake for
6-8 minutes (oven preheated to 200 ° C / 400 ° F).
Sprinkle the cake with sugar and turn out on another piece
of baking paper. Let the cake cool under a towel. Remove
baking paper from bottom.
Trim the sides of the cake
with a knife. Halve the cake. Mix
Mascarpone cheese with cherry jam and sugar.
Spread over the first layer. Put the top layer on and press slightly.
